Get to Know: The Rock Solid Master Clamp

The Rock Solid Master Clamp from Tether Tools is an indispensable piece of equipment designed to mount arms and gear to a wide array of round or flat surfaces. It’s crucial to keeping your gear safe and intact. Let’s say you have a Rock Solid Master Articulating Arm, connected to an AeroTab L4 holding your brand new iPad Air 2. It’d be rather difficult to insert the baby stud on the Articulating Arm into the Rock Solid Master Clamp, holding it with one hand and tightening with the other. Thankfully, we’ve added a safety pin that will hold that baby stud in place as you tighten it down with the screw knob.  It’s easy to use. Push the pin in on the Rock Solid Master Clamp and insert the baby stud. Release the pin and the baby stud will be temporarily locked into place. Now tighten the small thumb screw and you’re set! The Rock Solid Master Clamp has a smorgasbord of uses, it will hold just about anything else including cameras, strobes, flashes, umbrellas, cross bars, and even other Master Clamps. The Rock Solid Master Clamp is made of lightweight cast alloy and can be securely mounted on any tube from 0.5″ to 2.1″ in diameter. A unique wedge insert for clamping to any flat surface or shelf is also included.
