A Scream Photo Booth is exactly what it sounds like, a unique photo booth experience that makes the use of a sound trigger to capture a person in a primal scream or yell when standing in front of a lens.

Bring something a little wild to your next event, by asking party goers to, “please come shout at my camera” – expect a funny reaction, and then an exceptional photo.

If you don’t already have a photo booth setup we highly recommend the Vu Photo Booth. High in quality, but low in price, the Studio Vu-2 Photo Booth from Tether Tools sets up and breakdown with ease, is fully customizable, and best of all, it generates extra event revenue while using your existing gear.

Ready to get your scream on? Here’s what you’ll need:

Once your gear is in place, you’ll want to test things out and show folks how to use it. Open up your Triggertrap app and tap the red button to ensure the device is listening for sound. Set the threshold high as your guests will be making lots of noise. Now you’ll just need to explain to your merrymakers that they’ll need to shout or scream as loud as they can to trigger the camera! A sign explaining that they’ll need to shout to activate the camera, as well as some encouragement is also a wonderful idea.
