Lightroom Mobile for Android Adds RAW Support
lightroom-android With the latest release of Lightroom Mobile for Android, you can now import and edit RAW files right on your Android device – phone, tablet or one of the new Chromebooks that support the Google Play Store. This is a feature that Adobe previously rolled out to Apple iOS devices back in June 2016. I’m not going to go into the benefits of shooting and editing RAW files, but needless to say, many of our customers shoot RAW. While it doesn’t support tethering like it’s computer based sibling, you can use an OTG Cable (USB 2.0 or USB 3.0) to import your images on to your device by connecting directly to your camera or using a card reader. Better yet, you can transfer images wirelessly using the new Case Air Wireless Tethering System. Yes, transferring RAW files wirelessly will take a few seconds, but having the ability to edit them on your Android phone, tablet or Chromebook and sync them to all your other devices is something we know a few of you will thoroughly enjoy. Download it and learn more at the Google Play Store.
