Fashion, portrait and glamour photographer Kris Ryan Zara took the time to review Tether Tools’ own capture software, Smart Shooter. First off, we asked Kris what prompted him to try out Smart Shooter.
“Since I bought a Tether Tools cable in which I am enjoying a lot, I thought that it would be much more convenient that I’d get a Smart Shooter software as well.”
Considering there are several capture utility softwares in the market, we were curious what made Smart Shooter stand out compared to other capture softwares for Kris.
“Well for one, it’s a part of Tether Tools. Since I trusted your cable product of yours because of quality so I trusted this product as well.”
Kris also had to mention that he was a fan of Smart Shooter’s user interface as well as the ability to control his camera from his laptop. As for ease of use, this is what Kris had to say.
“Amazed, because after installing it, I didn’t have to adjust that much. It was ready to use.”
One concern that Kris had about using Smart Shooter was the compatibilities of his cameras to use the software. However, that wasn’t the case for Kris and was successful in connecting and using.
