In 1985 the publisher of Arizona Highways Magazine, Hugh Harelson, had the vision and foresight to see the value of creating an organization that could serve to promote the mission of the Magazine while offering a venue to promote Arizona through tourism and photography. Hence, Friends of Arizona Highways Magazine Foundation (FOAH) was born. Friends offered some of the earliest premier photography workshops. FOAH, commonly known as “Arizona Highways Photo Workshops” (AHPW) continues to offer more than 50 workshops a year. As one of only a few non-profit organizations devoted to photographic education, Arizona Highways Photo Workshops is proud to be celebrating 30 years and hope you will be a part of it.
Arizona Highways Photo Workshops is pleased to announce a three-day 30th Anniversary – “Capture Your Moment”- Reception and Symposium November 6-8, 2015 in Phoenix. The event will bring together photographers from across the nation for a dinner celebration, 2 days of educational seminars, and an Expo.
