ONsite Aero V-Mount

No. You’ll need the ONsite D-Tap to AC Power Supply and ONsite D-Tap Battery with V-Mount (or any standard D-Tap battery) to power and recharge devices. We simply recommend the combination of the ONsite Aero V-Mount and Tether Table Aero to integrate the power solution.
The piece that secures the D-Tap AC Power Supply works on front or back lip of the Tether Table Aero. The second piece that secures the D-Tap battery is secured the same way as the Aero XDC, on the bottom of the table, and on either the left or right side of the table.
Yes, your Tether Table can accommodate both accessories. The ONsite Aero V-Mount is secured the same way as the Aero XDC, on the bottom of the table, and on either the left or right side of the table.
Plug your power supply directly into the plate, not into battery – this way if your D-Tap battery is depleted you can slide the V-Mount D-Tap battery off, replace with another D-Tap battery and your AC Power Supply is still plugged in ready to power and charge devices.

ONsite D-Tap Battery with V-Mount

The ONsite DTAP Battery provides a constant 10AMP output from the DTAP and Vmount pins.
Yes, at 150 watt-hours, you can take up to two ONsite D-Tap Battery with V-Mount with you on a plane, in carry-on baggage and with airline approval. Cannot be in checked-in luggage. Tip: Transport your ONsite D-Tap Battery in its original packaging, this will not only cover the terminals but provided details on watt-hours for the airlines or TSA.
Standard D-Tap chargers will take approximately 4 hours to charge the 150Wh battery.

ONsite D-Tap to AC Power Supply

Users of 85 watt (85W) or higher power supplies may experience intermittent charging (trickle charging) based on application usage. To determine your power supply wattage, please look on the power brick or consult your manufacturer’s website.
First, determine the number of watts your device requires. Examine the user guide, the device itself, contact the company, or search online. To be compatible with the ONsite D-Tap to AC Power Supply, you should use devices that require less than 200W.
The ONsite D-Tap Battery with V-Mount has 150 Watt Hours (Wh), and this can help estimate how long your device can run from the ONsite Power system. For example, a 150Wh battery should run a 50W stereo for 3 hours. Here are a few devices, their watt-hour requirement, and an approximate estimate of run time.

Our ONsite Aero V-Mount is power compatible with both V-Mount and Gold Mount batteries as they both have D-Tap plugs but will only seamlessly mount with V-Mount batteries.
