Typically, the Manfrotto 190XB 3 Section Black Tripod and Ball Head 496RC2 are sold separately, but for our Ultimate Tethered Photography Workstation, you’re going to need both. So, we’ve packaged them together to simplify your tethered workflow. This is a great combination of durability, stability and value. This tripod and ball head will work with your Tether Table as well as all of your additional cameras and photography equipment. The tripod has been redesigned to offer better ergonomics of the leg-angle release mechanism and improved quick-action leg locks. While it can reach a maximum working height of 57.5″ (146 cm), it can also be used as low as 3.3″ (8.5cm) by using the low angle adapter built in to the center column, though we wouldn’t recommend placing your laptop that low to the ground.

The Manfrotto 496RC2 Compact Ball Head & Quick Release 200PL-14 Plate is strong enough to support SLR or DSLR cameras. It has a single repositionable locking lever for 360° panoramic rotation, ±90° tilt movement, plus a friction control for precise positioning. Attach a Tether Table or camera to the ball head with the 200PL-14 Plate using the 1/4” male threads. The head-to-tripod attachment has 3/8” female threads. Additionally, the quick release system has a safety to prevent an accidental detaching from the head. Once you have it in-hand, simply attach your Tether Table to this awesome tripod using the 3/8” thread. Want the tripod and ball head combo?
