Currently many of the more popular tethering software packages do not yet support the Nikon D4 and D800.  Certainly they will be incorporated in the future but in the meantime we have been on the lookout for software packages that will let you tether these cameras.  We stumbled across Camera RC. The minimum computer requirements to run CameraRC are:

  • Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.
  • Apple Mac Running Windows in Boot Camp or a Virtual Machine.
  • Recommended Monitor Resolution 1152X864.
  • 1 Gbyte Ram.
