A good photographer will never be great without a defined style. A good image will never be great without a defined concept. Take this workshop to learn what you need to take your work and career to the next level.
In this hands-on shooting workshop, NY fashion photographer Lindsay Adler will discuss what it takes to develop a style and clearly define your vision. She will discuss gathering a creative team, building your portfolio, determining your style, and creating high-impact images. She will discuss her own creative path and her thoughts on what it takes to succeed in the competitive world of photography.
After her lecture and demonstration, you will have an opportunity to shoot two highly stylized fashion/portrait sets on a beautiful NYC rooftop overlooking the Empire State Building. Each set will be designed to represent a different style and lighting, giving you the opportunity to try your hand with different creative approaches.
Bring your passion and your thirst for knowledge! Memory cards will be provided to every attendee. Canon will have sample gear and lenses to test out during the workshop. Feel free to bring your own camera as well. Every workshop attendee will leave with their own images of two different model set ups on our rooftop.
