Photographer Spotlight: Ben Yeatman
Ben Yeatman is a timelapse (and more) photographer  out of Gerringon, Australia. His work can be found at BenYeatmanPhotography.com. Follow him on Instagram at @benyeatman and 500px at @yeatmanben74. I would describe my style of photography as? I love time-lapse photography. There’s just something about capturing the movements of nature that you wouldn’t normally see that gives you greater appreciation for the world we live in. My dream gig would be… To shoot for the cover of National Geographic. My favourite piece of gear is? Emotimo Spectrum 4 – Axis timelapse controller. It is by far the most compact, lightweight and functional solution on the market. My favourite piece of Tether Tools gear is? The Case Relay Camera Power System. This allows me to shoot long high quality time-lapses on light-weight mirrorless camera’s without having to worry about power restraints.

What’s on your photography gear shopping list in 2017? I would like to try out the new Case Air Wireless Tethering System. The best advice I can offer a fellow photographer would be? You learn the most from making mistakes. The more you go out and practise different techniques and shooting styles the more prepared you’ll be for that all important shoot. Having good quality gear is only half the story. Yes it helps but knowing how to get the most out of your equipment is more important.
