creativeheader_1396910366__46129Focusing primarily on small flashes, Joe will demonstrate how you can achieve big results with small lights. While emphasizing on how to “write” with light and how it shapes the mood, color, and feel of the photograph, Joe will start with the basics of one strobe and built into using multiple lights.

As he covers color temperature, using color-balancing gels, you will discover ways to work with natural light and strobe and how to effectively mix the two together. Also discussed will be lighting issues that arise in the field when using small, on-camera speed lights as well as the problems and solutions inherent in dealing with huge productions. The schedule in the morning consists of a slide presentation and open Q&A, with the afternoon spent shooting in a studio setting and on location.
