The Phase IQ260 Imaging System has unprecedented tethering capabilities and is compatible with both the TetherPro SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Male A to B as well as the TetherPro FireWire 800 9 to 9 Pin.
SuperSpeed USB 3.0 is the latest data transfer protocol available for the fastest and most reliable transfers. The large images generated by this system greatly benefit from SuperSpeed technology; however, working with the best caliber cables will ensure reliability and connectivity.
Tether Tools manufactures to the highest USB specifications, incorporating the highest quality components and unsurpassed reliability in every cable. TetherPro SuperSpeed USB 3.0 cables are available in high-visibility orange or black.
TetherPro tethering cables are specially designed with a low-profile outer B casing to fit Phase IQ260’s digital back and the narrowest of device ports. Made to filter out signal noise and reduce transmission errors, these USB tethering cables are fully shielded to protect against external signal interference and have transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.
USB specifications recommend limiting the length of a passive USB cable to 15 feet. If you plan to tether your Phase IQ260 longer than 15 feet, you will need a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Active Extension.
The TetherPro FireWire 800 9 Pin is also available in high-visibility orange or black. It offers the most recent version of the popular FireWire peripheral interface with transfer rates up to 800Mbps.
Designed to the highest IEEE 1394b standards, all TetherPro 800 cables feature dual ferrite cores to reduce electromagnetic interference while boosting fast transfer speeds. The 15-foot (4.6m) cable is the industry’s top choice for tethered photographers whose camera and computer utilize the 9 Pin FireWire 800 standard.
FireWire IEEE 1394b specifications are backwards compatible with existing FireWire technology. Please note, newer model Apple computers do not have FireWire ports, only Thunderbolt. If your computer does not have a FireWire port, a Thunderbolt to FireWire Adapter will be needed to use a FireWire Digital Back.
